The Fall Learn To Skate program promises fun and instructive basic skating sessions for any boy or girl who wishes to master the fundamentals of skating.  Weekly sessions are designed to develop your child’s strength, balance and agility to become a confident and competent skater while enjoying games, drills and making new friends.

The program is open to children aged three to ten years of age.

PLACE:        Graf Rink, Low Street, Newburyport

FEE:            $125.00, $200 for two children
 

EQUIPMENT: Hockey or figure skates. Rentals available to get you started. Helmet, knee and elbow pads required. Bicycle helmets are allowed. Small knee and elbow pads designed for in-line skating are excellent for this purpose. Bring warm mittens or gloves.

The Mite Instructional program is typically the next step after learn to play. The Mite "I" season starts in October and goes into March. There are two practices and one cross-ice game a week. All games are played at the Graf Rink in Newburyport. Parents with a hockey background are encouraged to help on the ice at this level.

The Mite program is typically the next step after Mite Instructional. At this level, the kids play half ice games in the Valley Hockey League.
